Who I Am
I'm Alfie Bull, a digital content specialist, video editor, and visual effects artist based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. For over eight years I've been delivering high-end visual content for film, television, commercial, and digital platforms — from feature-film VFX and brand documentaries to fast-paced social media campaigns and recruitment videos for businesses across Suffolk and beyond.
What drives me is the intersection of technical precision and creative storytelling. Whether I'm compositing a complex VFX shot in Nuke, grading a brand film in DaVinci Resolve, or cutting a narrative edit in Premiere Pro, I approach every project with the same commitment: the work has to look considered, hold up on any screen, and serve the story it was made to tell.
Over the years I've collaborated with major studios, independent production houses, growing agencies, and direct-to-business clients across East Anglia. That mix matters — feature-film discipline doesn't always make it into commercial work, and commercial pace rarely shows up in film. Bringing both into every project is the difference between video that looks fine and video that earns attention.

Discovery & Brief
We start with a conversation — what you're trying to achieve, who it's for, where it'll live, and what success looks like. No generic templates, no off-the-shelf packages. Just the right questions to get the brief right the first time.
Pre-Production & Planning
Treatment, references, schedule, deliverables, and (where relevant) shoot plan. You see exactly what you're getting before any keys are pressed.
Craft & Execution
The bit I love. Editing in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, VFX in Nuke or After Effects, motion graphics, sound design, and colour grading — built carefully, layered properly, finished to a standard that holds up.
Review & Refinement
Collaborative review rounds, clear feedback, and final delivery in every format you need (vertical, horizontal, broadcast, web, social). Every project ends with a result that's exactly right — not just close enough.
